Rubber Tracks in Ireland

The euro to pound conversion has meant for the last few years, Ireland has bought many of its products across the broder in N.I. Of course things have settled down now, but when it comes to business getting the best price is still the priority especiialy when survival could be part of the equation. Parts for mini diggers and othe heavy duty equipment salls under the same banner, so many firms are still buying their wear parets such as rubber tracks from the UK, where often the buyiong power is better.
There are rubber tracks suppliers in Ireland, but they are ever having to compete with firms who buy in bulk form China and pass the savings on their customers. Even with delievry it is possbile to buy say rubber tracks outs side of Ireland cheaper than within, making it difficult for rubber tracks ireland suppliers to compete.Of course being able to buy your parts that day and have them fitted withi 24 hours does still give an advantage to the Irish suppliers.

Rubber Pads ON Steel Tracks

So why is there not a grinding noise when a machine running on steel tracks drives across the ground? Well quite easy really, they are fitted with rubber pads to give grip and to prevent wear and tear on those steel tracks. The good news for digger and excavator owners is that these rubber pads clip on or bolt on very easily indeed, so they can be replaced in just about any location or environment.
Just like a pair of shoes these rubber pads come in different sizes and qualities to suit the working conditions and are available from most wear part suppliers without much delay. Other advantages of rubber pads is crossing rough ground and uneven territory, the nature of the pads means for a softer and smoother ride for you and the machine.

Unlike the motor car that seems to get more complicated with every new model, mini excavators and diggers are the oposite. They need to be simple in design so that most parts can be fixed or replaced locally and the rubber pad is and example of this. Of course the small rubber tracked machines don't have rubber pads, but do the same job.

The Importance Of Track Rollers

The beauty of using rubber tracks on smaller vehicles is the ability to remove them and replace as needed, something not so easy with steel tracks, they also weigh less, so sometimes covering areas such as snow and swampland can be easier. But we must not forget something, in that the track rollers that drive whatever type of track fitted must also be fit for purpose and in good condition.

They are designed bot to let mud and grime and extrame low temperatures not effect the runnning of these track rollers and to support the weight of whatever is on them. But as other mechanical parts there are time when these also need replacing. As they are connect to the undercarriage, it can be a tricky job removing, but not something the professionals cant handle, as they do it every day incertain circumstances. When buying a new digger or excavator, it should be worth taking the time to inspect the quality of the track rollers and in fact all of the mini excavator parts on the machine.

Bucket Teeth Replacements

We may know what a digger is and have enough information to know that big thing on the front of an excavator is called a bucket. Not oine of those things made in plastic but a big heavy bucket that can pick up earth, soil in fact just about anything.

Those pointy things at the end are called bucket teeth surprisingly and what many people do not know is that they are replaceable. This means you can do heavy work, digging up the world or breaking concrete and once these bucket teeth have worn down, there is the possbility of renewing them without the welding torch.

Many suppliers sell bucket teeth, to match specific buckets and sixes and types. the costs savings to replacing buckets is huge and can be replaced on site or in the workshop.

Rubber Tracks In The UK

When the snow comes or heavy rain, then sometimes builders, workers and more can not get their equipment moved from A to B, then vehicles that run on rubber tracks come into their own. Yes we know that on the Pistes throughout the world, if it was not for those vehicles that run on rubber tracks, no one would be doing any skiiing.
Here in the UK though it mini excavators and diggers tend to get used on constuction sites or anywhere where a change in the lanscape is needed. I recently saw one in a zoo recently, to dig landscapes for the animals. These are not the largest machines out there, but still do heavy work that cannot be done efficiently by hand tools.

We hop to write some more stuff about rubber tracks and other tools that we use, so call back often.
